Having Some Fun~ [Open][NR]

"I like parks! I like swings! I like to swing in the park!", she sang softly to herself as she skipped her way over to the swing-set. 

The swing-set wasn't like normal tiny ones; this one stood roughly twenty five feet high, giving anyone playing on it more than enough height to be happy. Or, in Sicarius' case, to feel like they were flying. It had been one of the small few special requests she had put in back when her brother had taken over the city: a sort of extreme park for those who were supernaturally inclined who couldn't be appeased by a simple normal human park. It was why the twisty slide nearby was likewise twenty five feet tall, metal, and when one used wax paper to slide down it it turned into super speed fun! This particular park was located more on the outskirts of the city; right at the tree line of the forests so that it was readily available for the supernaturally inclined but far enough away that most of the humans in the city wouldn't bother with it.

She sat down carefully on the swing, making sure that her tail was behind her so she didn't accidentally sit on the hyper sensitive thing. Once comfortable she wrapped her hands around the swing chains and kicked her feet; gaining a good bit of height automatically. She began to pump her legs in and out, gaining more and more height as she did so. Though sitting at the moment Sicarius stands five feet, zero inches tall and weighs an even one hundred pounds; with a slender figured pale skinned body. Mismatched eyes, the left being a neon pink in color and the right being a neon orange in color, are framed by light pink colored bangs which cover her forehead in an even line and hang down the sides of her face, ending several inches beneath her chin. The rest of her long pink hair is kept in two pigtails that are held together at the ends with gold silk ribbon tied into elegant bows. Light pink, fur covered cat ears are hidden by a beige colored cap that has cat ears and a cat face upon it. The female has a long tail which matches her hair and ears, cat like in nature with several buckles strapped to it from which hangs a decorative gold chain that attaches to her black belt she wears around her waist. The young female wears a collar around her neck that matches the buckles from which a large gold bell hangs from. She wears a long sleeved black and white shirt whose sleeves go down to her knuckles and in which the length goes down halfway down her butt. Over this shirt is worn another which is held up by what looks to be matching buckles to rest, and from which a ragged shirt hangs which a cat on the front of it and which is black in color, which only covers her chest, torn decoratively at the bottom like her matching black skirt she wears that goes about halfway down her thighs. The majority of her legs, going halfway up her thighs, are covered by a pair of white stockings, soft material like the rest of her clothing. Finally, her feet are snuggling kept warm in a pair of black, leather, buckled boots which go up to her knees, but which stop before them.

When she reached roughly fifteen feet up in both directions she leaned backwards, keeping her hands tightly locked around the chains. Her hair trailed behind her, the tip of the stuff brushing along the ground as the swing reached the bottom. She remained like that, watching the world go up and down from her view; which made it all look like it was upside down instead or rightside up. Giggling escaped her at random.

He had been wandering through this newest city he had ventured to when something brushed against his subconscious which startled him from his mindless thoughts. With his head jerking to the right he took in the sight of a child-like feline creature seating herself oh so carefully on a swing. Unable to contain his budding curiosity he stepped forward, ignoring the car that almost came colliding with him as he walked blindly across the street. His entire focus was on the child now playing and he cared little for anything else.

Into the park he stepped with his sights remaining on the child now tilted backwards as if trying to look at the world from another view point. He moved around the swing and to the back of it before placing himself far enough away so that the child couldn't strike him mid swing but close enough so that she would see him while swinging. "Hello child."

Up and down and up again. Down and up and down again.

When the swing reached the bottom of its arc was when she noticed the male who had entered the park; and who was now positioned behind her and saying hello. Blinking she remained in the same position she had been; only her miss-matched gaze darted around looking for any sign of any other children lurking about. She was alone.

As her swing started its downward arc again her feline ears began to twitch as her curiosity was peaked: what adult came to a child's playground by themselves? She had plenty answers free floating around her skull that more than answered the question, and which told her to be weary of the individual. But, for now she would give no outward sign of her weariness, simply mild curiosity. "Hello.", she responded to the male as the swing went back down again, allowing her to see him once more: sort of like a strange game of swinging peek-a-boo. "Why are you in a children's playground without a child?" Still she continued to swing all while wondering if this male was going to honestly answer her question or try and feed her some line of bull.

He watched as the child continued on with her swinging even with him standing there. He knew that most children would flee at the first sight of him and yet this child continued on playing as if he were just an average person. It all intrigued him further. When the child asked her question he grinned while not bothering to hide his fangs. "I could ask you the same question child. Why are you, a little girl, alone in a park? There are monsters out there. Why don't you come with me and I'll take you home?", he spoke as if it were a question and yet it was far from it. He was older than her which meant that unless she had some outside means to disobey a direct order she had to comply.

Sicarius' feet dragged along the ground which caused the swing to come to a swaying stop. Not wanting her back to the male she turned slightly so that she could keep her miss-matched gaze on him. There was something in the way he was speaking that caused what felt almost like a pulling sensation in her mind; some sort of underlying need to obey and do what he was saying. Yet, at the same time there was a pull from another direction; one that told her to do what she wanted, not what she was told. The second won within a tenth of a second. She shook her head no, her right hand lifting up until it rested against the bell that hung from her neck. 

Child Minded:

Sicarius stared at the man for about a second before her finger twitched; her fingernail making a soft click against the bottom most part of her bell. The result? A soft but not so simple chime of a sound. It instantly activated the magic built deep within the bell itself that would allow her older brother, Nova, to know that his presence was needed; a summon. It wasn't often she used the process; she never truly bothered with it unless she felt someone dangerous was around, or she was in over her head, so she knew her brother would realize relatively quickly that something was wrong. And it was at least to Sicarius: it wasn't often she came across someone who could even attempt to tell her what to do and cause her to almost do it.

Collar and Bell:

Sicarius simply remained staring at the man, slowly shaking her head no without speaking. "Pnudran...", she whispered softly. Her feline ears were perked up; alert. She didn't trust the male, and it was beginning to slowly show. The very tip of her tail was moving in a violent twitch of a motion; a sign of her growing agitation.

There was something off about today. Something that didnt feel right. Something as his father would jokingly say 'A disturbance in The Force". But he wasnt a Jedi, or a Sith, no matter how much he loved to read up on them. But there was no denying this feeling. There was something out there, and he didn't like it.

Velo City and the surrounding area was his personal domain; something he was sure that he made known to those of the 'supernatural' persuasion. Sure, the humans of the city had elected him to be the 'Boss' of the city, under the assumption that he was a benevolent angel that wished to protect them, but that was only part of it. With him in charge, Velo City had become a haven for those of the supernatural descent. Anyone was allowed to come and go as they chose, so long as they did not pose a problem to the city or its inhabitants. Certain powerful being visited the city in the past, some good and some... with less than noble intentions. Those who knew better would always come to him first, gaining his blessing before staying within the city for however long... but those who's intentions were to do harm, or attempt to gain control of his city from him.. they never last long.

But now, for his little sister's bell to ring in the middle of this feeling... it would only make his heart sink. She never rang that bell unless she felt that she needed, and was in danger.

Stealth:

His arrival would go unnoticed, as it often did while he was stealthed. Red eyes surveyed the scene, a strange man, standing near his sister. Yea, no. And to top it off, he could feel it.. the disturbance was at its maximum here, in this location. Just who was this male, and what the fuck did he want?

The male dropped the stealth mode allowing him, and his personal effects to be seen by anyone. Black hair hung from his head, framing a grim, stubbled face. He wore a sleeveless white shirt over black jeans, and booted feet. His wrists were adorned by a pair of bullky bracelets, while his left hand gripped what appeared to be a capped rifle. Those Red eyes locked onto the male near his sister, a soft growl emanating from his throat. A clear warning, one that was universal. His right hand dropped onto Sicarius's shoulder, giving her a reassuring squeeze.

He watched as the child stopped herself in her swinging and waited for her to come join him as he stretched out his hand towards her for her to take. When he saw her shake her head no he became even further driven to find out more about this child than he had been before. She was the first person to disobey a command from him in a very long time but before he could say anything she was flicking the bell on the collar she wore and another man was appearing out of no where. He chuckled when he was growled at and took a step closer. "Such an adorable little girl but I don't like being disobeyed. Didn't anyone teach you better than to disrespect your elders like that? Sounds like someone needs taught their place and punished. You there, the growling man, go away."

"Pnudran. Fru ec drec syh? Ra dneat dammehk sa fryd du tu; ra fyhdat sa du lusa fedr res. Ed vamd mega E ryt du mecdah du res. Ed'c hud uvdah dryd rybbahc... E tuh'd mega ed, E fyhd res du mayja.", she spoke softly; calming at her brother's reassuring squeeze of her shoulder. She didn't have to mention how said request that the male had made didn't work since that would be obvious by the fact that she was still seated on the swing instead of taking the man's out-stretched hand. 

When the male spoke again, speaking of Sicarius needing punished for being disrespectful, she frowned deeply: she wasn't a bad child, part of her child-mindedness meant that she obeyed her fathers and her brother without hesitation - she was in that regard the 'perfect child'. So, to hear anything different caused her to feel... upset. Saddened. The feelings seemed to permeate from the child in waves; all part of her empathy abilities and completely out of her own control at the moment due to how strongly she felt them. 

Her miss-matched eyes began to brim with tears and her bottom lip began to tremble while her ears lowered significantly and her tail wrapped around her waist. Sicarius had gone from the child who always smiled, to very upset, in less then three seconds. "U'l... ryd... pet...", she said softly, though her voice sounded more questioning than an actual statement.

Go away.

The word echo'd in his head, a burning command.

Go away.

Alri--wait, no. Why am I leaving? No, fuck that. This is my goddamn sister!

Unbreakable Will:

The growling deepened, his own teeth elongating into fangs as Nova removed the 'cap' off the rifle, revealing it to be a sheath for a sword within. Gripping the sword within his right hand and the rifle in his left, the male moved, positioning Sicarius behind him.

Calamity:

Angels didnt operate like this, not even close. Angels did not impose rule of law upon thier own like that. For someone to affect Sicarius and Nova like that, he had to be powerful. Very powerful. And on the wrong side of the light.

"Fucking vampire..."

With his rising anger, his poer responded, warping the world around him. The male's aura became visible, a howling, writing mass of rage and violence that bent itself around Nova and Sicarius protectively. But so far, this was a display of power, a threat of violence that, if he was indeed a vampire, this male would know so very well; it was meant to show ownership of a person, place or thing; in this event, it was Nova's claim over Sicarius.

"Hear me now, Kindred: you do not know whom you're dealing with. I ask that you leave this city now, for it is mine, along with everything within and around. You may be an elder, but I will not roll over and allow you to harm anyone, least of all my own flesh and blood. You are to leave this city right now and never return, or else you will sufffer the consequences. Are we clear?"

Behind him, he could feel Sicarius's pain, her emotional hurt; fuel for his anger, and the rapidly blanking mind within his body. This vampire, no matter his age, held no power within Velo City, and he was about to be taught a very harsh lesson in manners himself...

He chuckled again and put his hands up a bit. "All right, calm down." He had been surprised when one person could disobey him but now that there were two he was even more intrigued. Intrigued enough to allow things to calm down for now and leave it alone. "I'll go wander off now." He was going to leave when a simple sniff of the air caused him to scent the emotions on them that told him the child was near tears. Even with the display of protection and power that the guy was showing he couldn't help but comment, "I thought cats were supposed to be cunning and vicious. Tears just prove you're weak."

Sicarius looked up with her ears still lowered as she saw her brother move in front of her. Her head tilted as she saw her brother's aura manifest and wrap around the pair: it was enough to distract her for the moment from her previous upset. That upset was still there, yes, but like any child or kitten she was easily distracted, even if that distraction wouldn't last long. She sniffled a bit and raised up her right hand, using it to wipe away at the tears still lining her eyes so that her vision wasn't blury as she continued to remain focused on her brother's aura.

If the man was smart he would leave; her brother was giving him the chance to walk away, to escape with his limbs still attached. However... it seemed like the man wasn't finished with upsetting Sicarius as his next comment was even worse: he had just called her weak. There was a very fine line between being weak and being a child: she was not mentally mature, she threw temper tantrums, got upset, and even had irrational moments of fear that made entirely no sense because she couldn't normally feel such an emotion. That didn't make her weak. She was far from weak.

So, like a whirlwind out of control her emotions went from upset and borderline ashamed feeling to a mixture of upset and anger: the sort of emotions that spawned temper tantrums and screaming from most children. Arms folded angrily across her chest and her eyebrows lowered causing a look of anger to appear on her face; a hiss escaping her as her feline instincts began to kick in and do battle with all of the rest wanting to be let out to play. Tears brimmed back up in her eyes from her general upset. However, her mind was still a whirlwind even if her baser instincts were kicking in; meaning outside of the hiss she didn't say anything, and simply sat there on the swing waiting for her brother to handle it. It was easier, since her mind was even more chaotic then usual: upset over being told she was 'bad' in a sense or that she needed punished, and now angered because she was called weak when she was simply too young to have rational control over her emotions.

That was it. The final straw that broke the camel's back, so to speak. He'd been all set to allow this man to leave, to walk out of this city with his life intact. When someone gives you a pass to leave, there was nothing else for you to do but leave. You did not linger and insult the person's younger sister.

He would feast on this person today. No doubt of this fact, no matter of this. But before this man died... he would know pain. Red eyes locked onto this man, as Nova's power swelled and burst. This city stood upon a vast spring of power, and those were shouldered with the burden of being its Boss were able to tap into it. This same magic was what powered the various security features of the city, and enforced the laws of Velo City. During his time spent in the Tower of the Immortal while his family was off having thier adventure, the young male had learned a few things, of wich included the ability to speak a law into existance. He could even go far as to alter the fabirc of reality with mere words spoken. But this ability was limited, in a way. Nova needed to VERY specific when creating a law from scratch, lest the power went awry, with devastating consequenses.

Linguistic Magic:

But what did that mean for this man? He'd soon find out.

"E kyja oui ouin lryhla, Elder Kindred. Pid yc E dumt oui pavuna, oui ryja hu bufan fedreh so ledo. Drec bmyla ec so bancuhym tusyeh, yht frema fedreh ed, oui femm ypeta po so nimac." (I gave you your chance, Elder Kindred. But as I told you before, you have no power within my city. This place is my personal domain, and while within it, you will abide by my rules.)

Law Manipulation:

There it was! A law spoken into existance, one that would take affect immediately, even as Nova was raising the rifle and firing a shot aimed for Malkav's left leg. But what did it mean? For Nova and sicarius, it would be commical. But for Malkav... He would find himself stripped of any and all powers, as decreed by the laws of this domain that was not his own. For those who didn't understand, it was a simple as "My house, my rules." But of course, these rules would only come into effect so long as Malkav was within the range thier jurisdiction, something that encompassed all of Velo City and the surroudning areas. As soon as this male was out of Velo City grounds, his powers would be restored to him. And even now But there was a problem with that... he wouldnt live long enough to have his power restored. And even now, it would feel as if nothing had happened to him, like Nova's words were just that, words. But that was the beauty of this power. It was a silent killer... and the most unexpected. Malkav could try and resist if he wished to, but he was in the domain of another,  one whom had control of a vast, near limitless power suppply; he would surely fail.

He turned with yet another chuckle as he saw how angry the little girl had gotten. Getting the reactions he wanted was like taking candy from a baby. He had been amused by this child enough for one day. He began to walk off unless stopped, unaware of his power being taken away though he wouldn't have cared even if he did.

(Exiting the thread unless stopped)

Her head tilted; anger abating once more as she listened to the words that her brother spoke to the man. Some deep instinct told her that something was going on; some underlying reason behind her brother speaking to this enemy - she knew of some of his powers, including his ability to invoke laws, and figured that this perhaps explained it. Of course, she was sure she would see this for herself soon.

When her brother shot the man who was attempting to apparently leave in the leg she didn't even flinch; death and bloodshed were nothing new for Sicarius. Given that her brother wasn't outright killing the man meant he was likely going to suffer because of the fact that he not only made her cry but because of the insults he hurled.

Sicarius was still angry; and deep down an idea was beginning to form in her head. The idea of the man losing his abilities for forever; being turned into the very thing that he had called Sicarius - weak. It wasn't beyond her power to do so; anything she imagined became possible. She could even steal his abilities for her own. She began to play with this idea while watching to see what her brother would do...

Shots fired. A bullet to the left leg, one wound that would ensure this man went down in pain. The stubbled face pulled into a small smile.

"You know, there is a point where you needed to stop, and you have clearly passed it. You kept going, and this is what happens." The air felt different now; there was no longer that sense of an immensely powerful entity, one full of malevolence. There was only... the power that lived within Velo City.

"Fryd ec ouin hysa, Powerless One?" (What is your name, Powerless One?) There was a dual reason behind the question; he hated killing someone without knowing thier name, and if he knew this person's True Name, his power was absolute. He wasnt worried about being lied to; When asked a question asked in the language of the magic that Nova practiced, a being was unable to lie or refuse to answer unless they were a practioner themselves, even if they did not understand what was being asked of them. It was a shame really. Once he knew this beings true name, he was as good as Nova's personal bitch; using a person's true name in magic was as good as GPS. Whatever effects that someone wished to used upon a person... they would always be affected. That is, unless somehow.. a person changed thier True Name, a feat that was nigh impossible... But this man was now completely powerless, without a single defense to his name, save for flesh that was now as good as a humans..

With a flick of his wrist, and a spin of the rifle, the next round was chambered and the weapon was aimed again. With a loud report, the next shot was released, aimed for the right knee of the fallen kindred. He'd wait... quietly, watching, studying this man. "Sicarius... please.. if you could tell us exactly what this man was... it would be wonderfly appreciated."

He was shot in the leg and went down like a brick in water. He didn't scream out in pain like a normal person would but instead started to laugh heartily. He looked up at the man who had shot him when he started speaking some strange language and demanding a name. "My name is Malkav." He was shot again in the other leg and only laughed louder. "Why can't I use any of my powers?" He had tried of course to heal himself but couldn't.

And cue the big grin across Sicarius' face. There were several ways to of course break this man down and figure out what and who he was; but there was one guaranteed way to punish him while getting something herself. The process was simple enough: a series of thoughts that would lead to the man losing his powers on a more permanent basis. It would tell her what her brother wanted to know and would grant her some revenge: all of which she assumed her brother knew and had likely plucked out of her head.

At the mention of the man calling himself Malkav her head tilted to the right while her curiosity peaked. Of course, that didn't mean she was too distracted to do what she had been planning. So, unless her brother stopped her by some means the mental process was started; pure imagination, the mind of a child enhancing the abilities. "I want his power as my own...", came the mental thought that triggered it all. It was simple enough to imagine Malkav's powers as her own, even simpler to take them once she was done. It took a mere second, the time it took one to blink, and it would be all over. The only sign of this of course would be the sudden and very drastic increase of Sicarius' own powers due to her brother already binding Malkav's powers while within Velo City. There was no pretty little sparkly light show; unless of course... you counted the halo that hung above Sicarius' head suddenly exploding in a bright but otherwise harmless burst of light before turning jet black and fog like.

Child Minded:

Sicarius, who was momentarily taken aback by the sudden increase in her own power let alone her halo shattering as it had, did not forget what her brother had asked of her; and so she forced herself to focus. She knew the power within her; it was part of her and nothing of herself was hidden, so the answers were simple enough to find. "He is, was rather... a god. Or as close to one as people can get. Ancient power...." She lifted her hand and stared at it; able to feel the power now coursing through her veins like blood through a human: it was complete and utter raw power. The pang of hunger she normally felt that reminded her daily of her young age was gone; as was any sort of need or urge to want to sleep outside of what the feline in her craved. She was... stronger, so much so.

"Well then.. I've defeated a God?" A soft chuckle left the young male as he resheathed the sword back into the barrel of the rifle.Those red eyes shifted between violet and silver. "I feel sorry for you, Malkav. You're no longer a god. But don't worry. You wont have to live without your power for long..." Nova's face broke out into a fang grin, the still churning aura begining to creep across the ground towards the fallen diety.

"Forgive me, Malkav. You've left me with no other choice but to end your life." As Nova spoke, his aura would flare up once more and divide itself; several long and thick tentacles, each with its own tiny mouth at the end would spring to life, waving around in the air before turning to focus themselves on the object of the angel's wrath.

"Feed"

The command was as much mental as it was verbal; the appendages dived down upon the body, invading it through the open bullet wounds. Each mouth would snap and bite at portions of this male's very soul, pushing him to a fate worse than death. The sound of flesh tearing would ring out into the air, the blood spray would fill the air as the tentacles ripped through organs, devouring and shredding Malkav's soul.

Spoiler:

There was no saving this man. His sould was going to be food, and without a soul, there was no hope for him. Everything that he ever was tied to his spirit... but with Nova devouring this... there was no salvation.

Sicarius giggled and nodded to her brother's question before looking back down to her hands. As fun as what her brother was starting to do was to watch she couldn't take her eyes off of her own skin. She could still feel the power coursing through her veins; all over her entire body. She felt hyper in a sense, like she had just downed a whole bunch of sugar in one sitting. It also felt almost ticklish; like a gentle caress of sorts that wouldn't harm her in the slightest, but which she knew could harm someone else if she wasn't careful with her new found powers.

However, when the word 'feed' was spoken from her brother she looked up, curiosity driving her to ignore the tickling sensation for the moment in favor of watching this Malkav person reach the very end of his existence. Sicarius knew that there would be no coming back from this for Malkav which meant she wouldn't have to worry about watching her back in case he tried to show up again - still, she would keep an eye out for anyone trying to pop up to seek some sort of revenge over Malkav's death: that was, if anyone noticed.

Sicarius' usual smile covered her face and a giggle escaped her. "Bye bye!", she said in a child-like tone of voice. She then turned her attention to her brother, giggling again. "I feel funny... this kinda tickles."
